Winter was in the air and there was no way you could miss it. The air was crisp and the lake was starting to freeze over, the morning dew turned to morning frost. Snow had also made itself known once or twice already this December.
December. Wow. Already?
Time just decided to fly by at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. People had been wrapped up in their studies, it seemed as if friends hardly saw each other anymore. Bella, too, even. She couldn't remember the last time she saw Ana or Ais, or even, Katie, Aiya, and Molly. Jean and Peter were gone, as well as the Weasley twins. Leo was now working at the Ministry, like Peter, though Bell had never really gotten the chance to know him. Slowly but surely, Ms. Meyer seemed to be slipping into her child-hood anti-social slump.
For her birthday last month, where she turned seventeen, Bella hadn't mentioned it to anyone. Only her close friends remembered and gave her gifts. And, quite honestly, she hadn't opened any of them. Cal had given her something, too, which was the only thing she brought herself to open. It was a small box, but held a beautiful necklace to match the bracelet he had gotten her last year for Christmas. She wore it everywhere now, along with that bracelet and her engagement ring.
Within the few months that Bella had lost contact with people because of her studies, she had changed in appearance as well as personality. She had grown a fourth of an inch, bringing her to a full Five-feet, three-and-one-fourth inches. Her hair, which she had decided to cut this summer because of the warm weather, had grown out to her shoulders. It was layered and choppy, something it usually wasn't. Alright, so maybe she didn't change a whole lot, but it was something.
I suppose, in a way, you couldn't call her personality a change, either. She was still the smiley, happy Bella that everyone knew and loved. She just had a bit of a shell right now. And if she were to see someone soon, that would surely turn her back into her old self.
With no classes today and no homework to be done for once, Bella had taken liberty to pull one of her old books from her trunk and head to the Castle's common room. When she got there, only a few second year Ravenclaws were inside playing cards by the fire. She gave a brief greeting before sitting in one of the many stuffed arm chairs - this one by the window- and curling up. The whole concept of relaxing was rather refreshing, in her mind. In seconds, Bell was so absorbed in her book, she probably wouldn't hear anyone even enter the room.

C’mon, Ais. You can do it! Three…Two…One…Push! Almost there! C’mon, girl…Not much longer. Yeah! That’s right, go, go, go! Quick alm-”
Aisling finally pushed the covers off of the top of her head and hazily gazed at the ceiling. Through her weary fog, she could see the mahogany posts of her bed through her peripheral vision just as she always did. Ais finally sat up in bed just to resist the temptation of submerging herself in her sheets. If she had given in, she would have pleasantly drifted back off into her dreams, but on the flip side she would have had to force herself to wake up again. Not good. Was it really that sad that Aisling had to coach herself to get up and greet the day? It didn’t help the cause that much seeing that her sheets were comfortably warm while Hogwarts was battling off December chills.
Despite the fact that her eyelids felt like lead weights, Aisling continued to fight off the urge to fall back asleep. She got up groggily and shuffled over to the mirror on the other side of her room. Why the hell were her eyes red? They looked as though she had just rubbed flowers all over them. Or even worse, they look like she just had a pity party and cried herself to sleep. Whatever it was, they weren’t flattering. Ais rubbed her eyes just for the heck of it; if anyone asked, she rubbed her eyes too hard.
Avoiding her own gaze, Ais turned around and snatched her brush off of her cluttered nightstand and wrestled it through her tangled locks. She unceremoniously dropped it back off where she had found it once she was done. Then she picked up the first hair elastic she could find. Bending over, she flipped her hair over to let it hang in front of her. From there, she gathered it in one hand and tied her hair in a ponytail. Standing back up, she did a quick scan to see if there were any lumps sticking out, and if she saw any, she’d tuck them under.
Aisling replaced her wrinkled, mismatched pajamas with a pair of gray sweatpants that hung loosely around her legs, a plain black shirt, and a pair of warm Moccasins. Ais didn't have anything planned, so she dressed comfortably. On her way out, she grabbed a sweatshirt and slid it over her head as she walked.
As Ais left the common room, the sounds of second-year Joe's violin faded, and the crackling of the fire did as well. She meandered through the castle's halls before finally stopping by the castle's common room just to check it out. Aisling was instantly glad that she did. Practically skipping over to her best friend, she came to an abrupt halt in front of her before plopping down and sitting on her lap. "So I was thinking that this whole 'avoiding' thing isn't going to work out. Truce?" Ais smiled her dimply grin as she waited for Bella to look up from her book.

What was the book, you ask? Oh, just some muggle thing Aine had gotten her. It was, in a way, disturbing, but intriguing all the same. It was fiction, but based off of stuff that could really happen: a "school shooting". Did people in the non-magical world really find life that bad to go on a while rampage and kill their classmates? The thought was horrifying to the pacifist Bella, but she couldn't seem to shut the book. She wanted to, desperately, but Ms. Picult had such an interesting way of using the english language in her book.
In some part of her conscious mind -in the far corner I suppose - Bella was vaguely aware that someone else had entered the room. She didn't bother to look up, though, contrary to what she would've usually done. The book, now talking about Josie, the main character's release from the hospital. It was so intriguing, fascinating, and scary at the same time that Bella did not realize the new comer had strided right over to her chair and stood before her before it was too late.
"Oof!" Bella huffed, as an unexpected amount of weight plopped into her lap. It wasn't that the weight was heavy, just as stated, unexpected. The Hufflepuff prefect finally looked up from her book to see what was her best friend, The Hufflepuff Head Girl, sitting comfortably on her. After a moment of blind confusion, Bella realized that Ais had asked her something.
"So I was thinking that this whole 'avoiding' thing isn't going to work out. Truce?"
For a few seconds, only blinking eyes were her response. Was she avoiding people? What was there to 'truce' about? Then, looking back, it must've been at least summer time the last time she had actually seen and talked to Ais. A large, lopsided grin took over Bella's face as she let her book close and fall to the floor.
"Why, I have no clue what you're talking about Ms. O'Keeffe. Me? Avoid you? I think the Apocalypse might happen if it ever came to that!" Grinning still, the younger of the two reached up to poke the other on the tip of the nose. "Truce, either way. How have you been?"

As she waited, Aisling couldn’t help but sneak a glimpse at the book’s title. Nineteen Minutes? It could have been about anything, and Ais found that somewhat interesting. She didn’t really read for leisure, but a good book every now and then never hurt anyone. She unknowingly started to list things that could take place in nineteen minutes. She stopped at murder – pretty unnerving. Besides, would Bella really be reading a novel about some kind of murder? Aisling doubted it, and she looked back up from the cover.
Aisling stuck out her tongue as Bella huffed. The sight was pretty comical seeing Aisling was definitely taller than Bella by a couple of inches at least. It was similar to a giant kid sitting on a slim Santa’s lap. As Aisling kicked her legs back and forth, she waited for Bella’s next response. She was growing slightly impatient, but not in a bad way. Think about it, Ais had just seen her best friend for the first time in a long time. She was pretty excited, and it was hard to not just throw her arms around Bell and hug her to death. But Ais patiently refrained. She could wait a little bit longer to attack.
The dark-haired girl clapped as she heard the book hit the cold floor. Hold back the giggles, hold back the screeching… She grinned at her seemingly long-lost friend’s voice. “Shh, don’t say that. The sky’ll fall and it’ll be the end of the world as we know it!” Ais flicked Bella’s arm. “I’ve only spent a good ninety percent of my time wondering where in the world Bella Meyer escaped to. I had to endure sleepless nights and equally restless days! Here you are.” Ais finally ended with a melodramatic sigh. “Actually I’ve been pretty bored. Wake up, go to classes, procrastinate, do work, sleep, finish work, eat, go to class. What about you? How have you been?”
Aisling continued to kick her legs back and forth as she waved to the Ravenclaws still in the room. She smiled at them like her little reunion wasn’t something to get worked up about. Then she turned back and let her head fall to rest on Bella’s shoulder. “What would you say to dumping Cal and running off with me to Nevada?” Ais tried her hardest to at least sound serious since her face certainly wouldn’t put up with the act.

George and Fred had been doing rather well for themselves ever since they had left Hogwarts. It had only been six or so months since they had actually left, but the two of them could have sworn it had been years, at the very least. Time flew when you were making Galleons, as Fred would say, cheerfully clapping his brother on the shoulder and counting out the fat gold coins in his other hand. The two of them had decided to split their profits evenly, and since the store was going about as well as anything could go, they were both positively rolling in the dough - not that he would actually want to do that. Again. The first time he had done that, he had gotten a Knut stuck up where the sun don't shine, requiring an embarrassing intervention on both mother and son's part.
He was currently sneaking through the halls of his old stomping ground in search of something he had stored away there before the two of them had graduated, but they had forgotten in their haste to leave the books, teachers and Mrs. Norris behind. George was sporting a handsome handlebar mustache; the twin to Fred's. They had been testing out one of their old inventions, and after their quite astounding facial hair had appeared, they had remembered simultaneously that so-called 'cure' for it was hidden inside one of the suits of armor in Hogwarts. The problem was, they just couldn't remember which one.
Fred had volunteered to take the other side of the school, while George was stuck with this side. They had been searching for a while, neither having any luck, but they had stopped to chat with several of their old teachers and friends ("Oi, Corner - you finally get that stick out of your arse?" "Professor McGonagall, you are looking positively ravishing today, is that a new hat?" "My stars and garters, Ronald Weasley, is that you? Or is that one of Hagrid's new creatures that he's found hidden underneath a rock somewhere?"). Suffice to say, they had been having more fun than success. It was as though they would have rather talk to people than find the solution to their...er, hairy problem.
Just as George was about to turn yet another corner, he heard two faintly familiar voices, and after a moment of listening, was able to place one of them, then the other. He strode around the corner, curling one end of his mustache around his finger, and beamed. "Aisling O'Keeffe and Isabella Meyer! How ya doing?" he bellowed cheerfully. "What's this I hear about you leaving my brother and Mr. Larson to run away to Nevada? They won't like this, they won't like this at all." He fake sighed, before checking a suit of armor close by him. No cigar. He moved to check another by the couch, stopping to pick up Bella's book and toss it back to her.

Perhaps this was a miracle, from more than one stand point. In all, complete honesty, Bella probably wouldn't have gone looking for anyone. Not today at least. She was perfectly not-so-content with her subject of reading, but she felt too lazy to actually get up and do something. Maybe with Ais here, she would feel up to go and have some fun. See ol' friends, play a few jokes, talk. Despite how nice it had felt to relax just now, all of that seemed appealing now as well.
Of course, miracles were always double edged swords, in Bella's own opinion. The responsible part of her mind was warning her: would her studies go down the tubes if she was going to go back to having fun all the time? It wasn't a problem last year, in her fifth year, but now it seemed like workworkworkwork all the time. Could she handle both? Of course you can! she scolded mentally, her nose crinkling a bit.
Bella giggled while Ais began to clap. She mirrored her friend's wide grin until she was flicked, then stuck her tongue out at Ais. "Fine, fine! How about this then: if I started to avoid you, I'd probably start flunking my classes because I'd wonder what went wrong between our friendship!" Her hands came up and made a 'slap' sound as either one hit either of her cheeks. "That's scary enough in itself, and the world won't spontaneously combust because of me." Letting her hands fall to the arm rests and pursing her lips to keep from laughing, Bella gave a timid smile. "And here I am." she confirmed, clearly aware that Ais was not the only person she hadn't seen in forever. When her friend described a oddly familiar scheduel, Bella shrugged. "About the same. Wake up, go to class, eat, do homework, sleep. Repeat the next day." What else was there to do if everyone was off doing their own thing?
While Ais turned to wave to the Ravenclaw students, Bella glanced out the window. It was a little foggy with frost hanging around the edges. She wondered if her winter coat as a fox was white yet, but quickly dismissed the random train of thought when a head made itself comfortable on her shoulder. In return, Bella rested her head on Ais's. “What would you say to dumping Cal and running off with me to Nevada?” she had asked.
Giggling, in a failed attempt to keep with the serious track, Bella used a hand to tap her chin thoughtfully. "Are you sure Fred wouldn't come back and steal you away? I'd be afraid he'd jinx me or something. Or worse, make my teeth black. Or give me boils. Or something like that. Though, Nevada does sound better-"
A new voice chimed in, surprising Bell so much that she jumped just a little. Letting her brown eyes travel over to the doorway, she was surprised to see Mr. George Weasley. Or, so she assumed. If it we Fred, surely he would've intervened with something other than, "Aisling O'Keeffe and Isabella Meyer! How ya doing?"
A smile spreading on her face, Bella replied. "Well, here I was thinking you and your brother were pulling tricks on innocent bystanders. I'm doing alright, thanks." She had to smother more giggles as he went on to ask about Nevada. Woops. Had they been talking to loud? "George, I think you may need your hearing checked. Whats this about going to America without Cal and Fred?" She waved her hand back and fourth nonchalantly, eying Ais for some backup.
Then, her book came tunneling back towards her. With a squeak of surprise, Bella's hands shot up to catch the paperback before it hit either her, or her current lap-sitter.

Aisling didn’t move. “Fine, I guess. I doubt our friendship’ll ever die or whatever. If I pass on before you, I’ll haunt you, ‘kay? But lemme tell you, Missy. If you don’t keep up those grades I’ll…uh, release the first years on you.” Ais sat up for a moment to nod her head sternly. The first years weren’t horrible, but there was that one nose-picker… “Hush, Bella. You and I know that the world revolves around you. I still lurve you though.”
“Fred would steal me back? That’s intense…and I like it. Let’s try it!” Ais laughed as she twiddled her thumbs. “But hey, if you’re not going to run off with me, what about meeting up at the Three Broomsticks with everyone or something. Old times sake, you know? Relive the good times?” In Aisling’s mind, last year was the ultimate year. The many memories she kept close included that time she had first met Fred, they kissed at the dance, she and Bella got to be close friends, Oliver was still alive, drama was kept to a simmering low, and all her friends were still students at the castle. Then just after that ball dropped in America, things started in a downward spiral. She had been attacked by the Inferi at least once (and because of it to this day she can’t touch the tip of her thumb to her ring finger on her left hand without wincing), there was that intense fight, everyone had to live in the Great Hall for what felt like forever. Also the Hufflepuff Inquisition had to open a can of whoop-ass on that Victoria girl – oh wait, maybe that was fun…but still serious. On top of that, she had witnessed more drama than she could ever have wanted. Oh, and the Gossip Column. Can’t forget about that, now could she? With all her might, Ais hoped that the next year would turn out to be better – her graduation was coming up, right? If she didn’t screw things up, the world would have to make room for her.
But that posed a new question in her hopeful mind. What was she going to do once she was released into life outside of the castle’s walls? She honestly didn’t have any interest in business. Besides, she didn’t have any faith that she could be half as successful as Jean or even Fred and George, and she barely knew how they were doing. Maybe she could do something else, right? Ministry work wasn’t her forte, and she definitely wasn’t a Mediwizard. Professional Beater was out of the question, along with cheerleading. Merlin, she was screwed. The dark-haired girl stubbornly refused to live at home. So unless she was the next winner of the lottery, a trash-woman, a poorly paid employee at a store, or bartender, things didn’t look good. That wouldn’t stop Ais, though. There had to be something out there for her to do.
“George?” Aisling asked, instantly perking up. Resembling a meerkat, she looked around with an anxious and alert look to her face. But she cringed at what her eyes soon saw. What the hell? George’s mustache looked like it was an animal eating his face. Ew. She secretly wondered whether Fred had…Fred. Fred. Ais’ heart skipped a beat. Hadn’t he and George already graduated? Her insides tingled. Caught up in her short-lived daydream, she almost missed George’s statement about hers and Bella’s ‘plan’ to run off to Nevada. “George! Favorite twin of my boyfriend, how have you been?” She asked, sitting up in Bella’s lap. She threw her arms open, half-expecting a hug from him. It was pretty stupid, but she wanted a hug seeing as George was an exact replica of her favorite person in the world. Damn it, she wanted a hug, and she wanted one bad.
Ais glanced over at Bella. George, I think you may need your hearing checked. Whats this about going to America without Cal and Fred? Her head bobbed up and down as she thought of something to add. “No, no, no of course we wouldn’t.” She said, stalling slightly. “Bella and Cal pass up sexy-time in a foreign country? I don’t think so.” Playfully she hit Bella’s free arm.
If George didn’t leave immediately, maybe she’d ask if Fred were nearby. She was almost positive he was in the castle; didn’t the Weasley Twins normally travel in pairs? For the second time that day, her thoughts about Fred were cut short when George threw the book at Bella. “Merlin!” She exclaimed, turning around and burying her face in Bella’s shoulder.

"Clear off!" Katie shouted and pulled out her wand threateningly. The group of young wizards around her backed off almost immediately. She sighed in relief and leaned back in her chair. She glanced around the common room wearily and saw one of the little wizards freeze in his tracks. A quiet growl escaped her lips as she stood up and practically ran into her dorm.
Muttering under her breath, she dug through her drawers to find a pair of sweatpants and a teeshirt. The best way to get people to leave her alone was go for a run. She changed quickly and pulled her hair back into a loose ponytail. She tucked her wand in a compartment she made in her left pantleg and headed out, ignoring everyone around her.
As Katie walked down the staircases and through the corridors, her anger disappeared. She walked past the entrance to the castle common room, froze, backtracked and walked in. It took her a second to realize who the people were. When she did, she grinned and waved as she walked over to them.
"Bella!" She called, half shrieking in her excitement. She ran over and hugged her tightly, not quite sure the last time they talked. "It's been way too long, my friend." It took her another five seconds before she realized who was sitting on Bella's lap. "Ais! My other lovely! What's been going on?" Her grin was making her cheeks slightly sore, but she couldn't help it. Her smile faded slightly as she saw the redhead.
"Erm, I'm sorry, do I know you?" She could swear she knew him from somewhere, but just couldn't place him. After surveying his face for another few seconds, she gasped and flung her arms around his neck. "George! I'm sorry, the mustache threw me off." She giggled nervously and her face was turning redder by the second, feeling bad that she didn't recognize him.

A tall-black dressed girl creeped up the pathway to the castle. The only sound that was heard was the light tapping of the girl's heels on the cobblestones. The figure flattened herself against a pillar hiding herself from a flock of first-years who ran inside the castle. When she was sure that they were gone she stood back straight and fixed herself. She repositioned her black hat on her head, keeping it so that her face was covered and she could still see. Her black jeans had gotten wet at the ends from being too long, which is uncommon for the 5'9" girl. Her black coat was buttoned all the way up with a black scarf hanging loosely around her neck.
The girl continued her adventure humming the "Mission Impossible" theme song in her head as she traveled along. Once she was in the castle she was now very war, but couldn't take off her disguise in risk of people finding out her true identity. She had to wait until she was in the confines of her friends. She traveled down the first corridor, not paying attention to the curious looks of the students milling about. She leapt into vacant corners so she wasn't spotted by professors and eventually made it to the common room.
She ran in and saw the familiar faces of Ais, Bella, George, and Katie. She let out a muffled "Hey guys!" and couldn't help but laugh at the way her voice sounded. "Oops." She took of the hat first, a bundle of long red hair falling to the girls shoulders. She ran her fingers through it a couple of times then the coat was the next to go. She straightened out her brown sweater and smiles at her friends. "I mean, Hey guys!"

Fred surveyed the wheezing knight in armor before him with utmost contempt. He had been in this position for over sixty seconds now, and he wasn't happy about it.
With gauntlets clutching its abdomen, the knight clanked and gasped out laughter. Fred glowered. "Shove it," he muttered in no uncertain terms, then yanked up the visor and indeed did shove his arm down the knight's gullet. After a few moments of strenuous searching, the redheaded twin emerged with almost less than he'd started off with, due to the mangy knight heartlessly trying to snap his visor shut again. Fred withdrew his arm with a growl, making the whiskers above his lips bristle. The knight dropped his spear as he once more descended into belly-shaking laughter.
"That's it," the Weasley entrepreneur hissed, pulling out his wand and pointing it in the direction of the offending knight. A few mutters later, and there was an old holey boot where the suit of armor had once stood. Without further adieu, Fred picked up the boot and tossed it out the nearest window. Wiping his hands of any traces of dust, he propped the spear up against the wall and continued on his quest, all the while whistling merrily.
Thirteen suits of armor later and still no cure, Fred's walk was a little less jaunty. A passing fifth year got the brunt of his anger, which was thankfully more annoyed than truly mean-spirited. The attitude behind the actions didn't much matter to Adrian Pucey, however, who now resembled his forefathers...from several billion years past. Fred figured that the burly Slytherin would someday come to appreciate the chance to walk in a caveman's shoes. Maybe he'd even write a book on the experience.
Just as he finished with the armor in the hallway of the moving staircases, Fred entered the main entrance to find a suspicious-looking black-dressed figure darting through the hallway...humming? One ginger eyebrow raised, Fred turned his feet to follow.
It was an interesting journey, with the person leaping into various crevices along the way to avoid other people. As each person passed, Fred would grin and raise a hand in greeting. "Hullo Professor Dumbledore, I heard they upgraded you from "dingy old bat" to "smarmy old codger" in the 'Daily Prophet' last week. Did it help the fan mail, or are they still sending you guano samples?" he'd greet the headmaster, or "¿Hola mi buen profesor, usted ha estado a España últimamente? no, conjeturo no. ¡adiós, cabeza del estiércol!" to various teachers. He even clapped a shaky first year on the back good-naturedly...also good-naturedly leaving a flashing sign that yelled "GERROFF ME YOU BUGGER" every third step on the young man's back.
Eventually, the figure in black skidded to a stop in the doorway of the common room and dove inside. Fred peeked around the corner. After a quick survey of the people inhabiting the room, he also followed with a grin. "Hello good friends and neighbors!" announcing his presence with a flourishing bow. He motioned to the figure in black, who had just revealed herself to be Jean Halliwell. "This fine lady just led me on a wild chase throughout the school." He leaned in conspiratorially, lowering his voice to a stage whisper. "You wouldn't believe the escapades Miss Halliwell can getup to when she thinks no one's is watching!" He winked at her, then caught his brother's eye. He gave his twin a fleeting 'zero' motion with one hand to convey the lack of success, and finally caught sight of the one Miss Veela sitting on the couch.
With three bounds, he was on her lap. "Miss Veela! My love!" Great amounts of smooching was about to ensue.

George twirled the end of his mustache, much like the villians in old black and white Muggle movies would. He gave the girls in front of him another grin, before looking abashed. "Sorry about that ladies, I rather assumed that you, like my younger sister Ginevra, would be able to catch a book. Alas, that was my mistake, and I sincerely regret it," he said, standing up straighter and clutching at the lapels of his jacket as he spoke. He relaxed a moment later, before going to sit on the couch next to Ais and Bella. He put one arm around the back of it, before surveying the room and finding not many other people in it. Hadn't Hogwarts been a lot more busy when he and Fred had been there?
"So, how goes things with my brother?" he asked Ais, before asking Bella a similar question. "And how goes things with your fiancee, Miss Meyer? Obviously not well, if the two of you are planning to run away to an American state." George took a moment to scramble up on the couch, peering over the side of it, in the hopes that maybe what he and his twin were looking for would be behind it, but - no cigar. They had really outdone themselves in the hiding process this time if they themselves couldn't remember where they had put it. Well, one more corridor down, only about a million and a half more, he supposed.
Just then, George heard a familiar voice, and he nearly fell off the couch. Surely this wouldn't be one of the days that he would run into Katie Bell? He had been thinking about stopping by to see her, but he was always busy with his brother and their shenanigans. He stood up hurriedly, trying to smooth down his hair and appear casual, just before she stormed around the corner, looking rather unhappy. She must have had a run-in with those second years that had been bugging him and Fred earlier for help with their potions homework. Little buggers, couldn't they do their own work? Apparently not.
"Katie! How dare you not recognize me?" George bellowed, in mock outrage. He put his arms around her, returning the hug, and rolling his eyes. "Doesn't it, though? Fred is sporting an exact replica, so if you do see him at some point, tell him I'm planning on hexing his arse later. Bugger can't seem to remember where he left the potion to fix this." Actually, it had been his fault that they couldn't find the potion this time, but no one in the room really needed to know that just yet. "But, how are you?" he asked, pulling away from her and looking down. "Well, I trust?"
Just then, another person joined them in what was soon becoming a crowded section of the common room. George took one look at the person, clad in black from head to toe, and sprang into action. He released his hold on Katie, and leapt in front of the girls, wand aloft. "Reveal yourself!" he said, seconds before the person took off their hat, revealing it to be none other than Jean Halliwell. George grinned, lowering his wand. "Hello there, fellow graduated ginger! Long time, no see!"
A voice from behind him told him that his twin had followed Jean into the room. "Any luck, dear brother?" George asked, turning around, his face falling at the sight of his brother's empty hands and equally bushy facial hair. "We've really done ourselves a turn this time, Fred," he went on to say, before his twin practically launched himself at Ais. "Again with the kissing, Fred?" George said, making a face. Those two really did need to get a room.

Jean looked to Fred and George. So Graduated students are allowed into the castle? Well damn, I just made myself look like a retarded idiot! She shook her head and collapsed down on an empty couch. She surveyed the people in the room and the small little changes about them that she hadn't noticed before.
Even sitting down Bella looked a touch taller. Her hair was also a bit longer. She looked at Ais and noticed that she also grew a bit. The Weasley twins' hair look quite more red then it usually is. But she was sure it was just the lighting. And she saw Katie before.
She hated not being in the castle as much. Sure living on her own was fun, but it got really boring. She missed sneaking out of her dorm and meeting her friends placed around the castle. Being back in the castle today was a bit of nostalgia.
She kicked off her wet shoes and pulled one leg up to her chest. She smiled at the feeling of being with her friends again in the castle just as it used to be. Sure not everyone was here, but it was still nice.
Jean at there in silence just listening to the many conversations of the people around her.
She kept her gaze out the door. She saw the many students bustling around trying to get to class. She noticed that the first years seemed to be very short this term. Either that, or Jean had gew more than she realized.
