((D: Hey, what 'bout me?))
Ana plopped herself down on the couch, placing Krumpet on her lap, petting her gently as the cat purred away. She grinned.
Oh, Leo! He's purring!
Harvey then came over to the couch, sitting himself down right in front of Ana and rested his head on the edge her lap, whimpering for affection as he tried to lick Krumpet. Ana smiled at him and pet the dog with one hand as she pet Krumpet with the other. She smiled up at Leo.

Leonardo grinned at Ana as she excitedly pointed out that the kitten was purring. "Well, then, he likes you. Clearly, I picked out a good cat." He rolled his eyes at Harvey. "Mama's boy." It was true; every time Ana gave any affection to Aiden or Fiona or Leonardo himself, Harvey would get upset and stick himself in between them. With a new kitten in the house that Ana was loving, Leonardo was sure that Harvey's jealousy was going to kick in overtime. He just hoped that he didn't knock the white kitten down the stairs, as he had done with Fiona one time after Ana had spent an entire afternoon baking with her. "Okay...um...alright, here's one," Leonardo murmured, strumming the guitar experimentally before launching into his song.
I set out on a narrow way many years ago Hoping I would find true love along the broken road But I got lost a time or two Wiped my brow and kept pushing through I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you Every long lost dream led me to where you are Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars Pointing me on my way into your loving arms This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road That led me straight to you
I think about the years I spent just passing through I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you But you just smile and take my hand You've been there you understand It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true
Every long lost dream led me to where you are Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars Pointing me on my way into your loving arms This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road That led me straight to you
Now I'm just rolling home Into my lover's arms This much I know is true That God blessed the broken road That led me straight to you
That God blessed the broken road That led me straight to you.

((XD DD's a choco freak. Poor Aiden and Fiona will be all sugar high while Leo and Ana are gone.))
>>"Well, then, he likes you. Clearly, I picked out a good cat."
Ana nodded slightly and continued to stroke the small cat. She sometimes got nervous about being around such delicate things, feeling as if her still semi-new vampire strength would erupt and she would break something or injure someone. She had been the same way when the twins were born and she made Leo baby proof the whole house just in case.
Harvey then jumped on the couch, snuggling up under Ana's arm and she smiled down at him. He blinked at her and she took that as a sign of affection, earning him a nice pat on the head. Even though Leo had originally wanted the dog and the kids were supposed to be the biggest factor why, Harvey seemed to be attached to her the most and even barked at Leonardo one day when they got into a small argument.
As he started strumming, Ana raised her head from the kitten and Harvey back to her lover, who serenaded her in the voice she loved most. She spent the whole song just staring at him, their life flashing before her eyes in spurts. There was an image of the first time they met, that night at the 3 Broomsticks, the night of the Ball, the night they saw each other after all those months. All those moments which didn't seem like much at the time were now so instrumental to Ana.
When he finished singing, Ana just smiled sweetly at him and then went to stand up, intending to go give him a kiss. She stopped, however, noticing that Krumpet now seemed to be asleep in her lap. She held up her index finger at Leo, telling him to wait, and picked up the kitten gently, laying him down on top of a sleeping Harvey. She stared at both of them for a minute, waiting to see if anything happened, and when nothing did she stood up and scooted over to Leo.
Ana took the guitar and laid it back into the case, wrapping her arms around Leo's neck and pulling him in for a kiss.

Leonardo was singing with all of his heart and soul the song he had written for Ana the night that he had realized that he was truly in love with her. He had tried switching words around to make it sound better, but he always kept coming back to the ones that had immediately poured out when he had told Ana he had loved her for the first time. It was a song that was supposed to be sung with a lot of emotion, and damn, was he bringing it. It was also a song that he wanted to sing at their wedding, whenever that was going to be. He wished it was soon, but knowing Ana, they would put it off for another five or six years, just for the hell of it. Their sixth kid would probably be born by then.
When he was done, he looked up to see Ana smiling sweetly at him, and putting the cat down. When she came over and kissed him, he smiled right back at her. "I love you, you know?" And then he kissed her again, trying to convey every single emotion that was flitting around him, and had been flitting around him, since he had met Ana.

Looking back, Ana couldn't fathom the idea that she hadn't always known she'd be with Leonardo. It seemed like such an obvious match, and everything about them being together seemed to just play out with fate. They were perfect for each other in every way, balancing each other out and bringing out the best in each other.
And when she was in his arms, Ana felt an aura around her almost like a blanket of love that made her feel safe and warm, and completely protected from all harm. She felt invincible with Leo by her side, like she was on top of the world and nothing could change that.
Ana looked at Leonardo and then, catching it all discombobulated, reached down to fix his tie. She then cupped his face in her hands, kissed his forehead and then caressed his cheek with her thumb, looking into his eyes.
I love you too, and I promise you I'll be the best wife I can be, and the best mother too. And I'll love you, and all our ten kids forever, as long as I live. And I swear, I'll do anything and everything to keep our family happy, no matter what it is. I promise that I'll never make you regret all that's happened between us.
She sniffled and leaned in, kissing him again with all her heart, sealing all the promises she had just made.

Leonardo wished that he could go back and redo his first few months at Hogwarts all over again. When he had first met Maryjane, there had been some attraction, but not much. He had figured that there would probably be no other girls interested in him - a 5'2, Slytherin, redheaded werewolf - and so he settled for her. They had definitely had fun together, but there was one obvious thing lacking. Although they had said 'I love you,' to each other, and had, on more than one occasion, slept together, it didn't meant that he really thought that she was the one for him, the one that he was going to marry and spend the rest of his life with. That had been cemented when she had asked him to see his family and then had never brought him.
But when he had seen Ana, everything that he hadn't seen with Maryjane had been there. It was as though a bolt of lightening had come right down out of the sky and struck him, leaving him somewhat useless and downright head over heels. But he had had a reputation to uphold (Back when he thought things like that were important), and so he had ignored her, called her names behind her back, and continued his relationship with Maryjane. After the Ravenclaw girl had cheated on him, however, it became painfully noticeable how much he had fallen for her. In the course of one night, they went from not even speaking to being best friends.
Being with Maryjane had been fun; they had messed around and told jokes and stuff, but overall, it was rather disappointing. A four out of ten, maybe. With Ana, everything just seemed perfect and warm and cozy, and a definite ten out of ten. There really was no one else that he wanted to spend his life with besides this girl in front of him, the one with the sparkling brown eyes and the laugh that he just couldn't get enough of. It was so difficult for him to get over the fact that she wanted him too - she wanted him for him, and there wasn't any changing that fact. Aiden and Fiona and little Doug (He was so calling the baby that now, since Ana hadn't exactly said no, but hadn't exactly said yes, either) cemented that fact.
Leonardo was a different person around her. He smiled more. Even Charlotte, who had admitted to hating Ana on more than one occasion, had said that she had notiecd that she made him laugh, she made him smile. She said that she certainly had never seen him act like that as a child, and Leonardo seemed to just want to be a more outgoing person with her. Lorcan, although he had been mysteriously absent for half of Leonardo's childhood (Leonardo always thought that maybe he had just gotten sick of Charlotte, so he magically left for days at a time), had even commented on the fact that Leonardo just plain seemed happier when Ana entered the room.
He smiled at her right then, catching her and holding her in his arms, and listening to what she was saying. "I could never regret anything that's happened between us, whether it's you having Aiden and Fiona, or us getting married, or anything. I love you, I love the kids, I love our life together, and I just want to make it more permanent - it's not as though the world can't see how in love we are, but with a ring, it'll at least keep the boys away." He grinned, laughing, and then shook his head. "I'm sorry to have ruined the moment, Ana."

Ana sighed, remembering back to the days where the only guy she wanted was Mike and even then she wasn’t interested in any kind of serious relationship that tied her down to anyone, let alone ever think about getting married or having kids. It was amazing how different things were now; Mike was gay, the only guy she wanted was Leonardo, and they had three kids (almost) together and were planning on getting married. Several days ago, when they were in Study together, Mike had asked Ana if she’d ever go back and change anything, and without any hesitation she said no, and told him that everything was perfect. She then asked him the same and he told her that if he could, he’d go back in time and make copies of those sexy pictures she had of Leonardo before she found out that he had taken them. She just sighed at him.
Mike asked her other questions about her and Leonardo too, and figuring that since he was gay now and they were no longer interested in each other, she didn’t hold back much. She told him about how she love Leonardo’s eyes and how happy she was that both Aiden and Fiona had them. She told them about the way she loved when he kissed her neck and how it made her tingly all over and she told him about how everything was playing out just as a fairy tale would, if they fairy tale was about vampires and werewolves for once. After she was done talking about Leonardo one day, Mike smiled at her and told her she need to get some kind of hobby because he wanted to hear more than Leonardo’s name for once. Ana was speechless, but Mike just laughed and said he was joking and that he loved how much she had changed and had never seen Ana happier, and he was happy she was happy.
In all honesty, Leonardo had changed her, but it was all for the better. Ana had gone from a ditzy, party girl who didn’t care about anything that happened in her life, to a responsible student and mother who was making plans for the future and was planning on actually doing something with her life. It seemed like her life was going nowhere before she met Leonardo; she was just living minute to minute, not thinking about any consequences or what she wanted for the future. Now she was making plans and having a family and wanting to do more with her life than just go from party to party and have casual relationships with people. He had calmed her down, brought her back to Earth and still managed to keep alive the side of her that was crazy and fun while still being able to bring some stability to her life. It was something Ana had never had before, a balance of fun and stability, and she was better for it now. Her father loved Leonardo for it, and Tori was just happy that she found such a great guy who fit her so well.
She continued to caress his cheek with her thumb as he responded to her. She kissed him once more before she smiled and shook her head.
You never ruin anything for me. If anything, your presence makes the moment all the more perfect. These words would mean nothing said to someone else. I could never love anybody else like this.
She paused and then shook her head again.
No...I could just...never love anyone else.
Truth be told, if anything ever happened to Leonardo, Ana didn't think she could ever love again period. She really did believe they were soul mates and if he was suddenly gone from her life, there would no one else for her. No one but him could ever fill the void she'd have in her heart.

Leonardo figured that, somewhere deep in the farthest corners of his mind, he had known that there was giong to be some girl named Ana who was going to sweep him off his feet and make him into the man that he was today. Lorcan had always told him about how when he was a young boy, he had had a dream about a young girl who looked just Charlotte, and how he knew that he was supposed to marry her, and they would be in love. He then went on to joke about how he had probably married the wrong one, and Caroline was really the one for him. To be honest, Caroline wasn't an exact carbon copy of Charlotte; she was more fun and outgoing, but she could be just like her sister at certain times.
Leonardo could remember a dream he had had when he was younger where he had met a little girl who looked suspiciously like Ana, but he hadn't thought that she would be the girl who would grow up to have his heart. Yet, at the same time, he had known somewhere that he was going to meet her, but it hadn't been until he had caught his first glimpse of her that it had all come together, that it had all made sense. With Fiona and Aiden in their lives, everything was perfect, and now they were getting married, and Baby Number Three was on its way. He honestly didn't think that things could get any better than they were right now.
He started to speak, carefully, one memory that he always thought about whenever he needed a pick-me-up. It wasn't a very special memory, but it was something that just stuck with him. "Remember that time when we were on the school trip, and we were stuck in Italy while it was raining? And Aiden and Fiona were freaking out, and you looked like you were about to smack one of the Italian people, and I just started laughing? And then you were laughing, and Fiona and Aiden were laughing?" Leonardo fell silent for a moment, feeling a bit lame at the memory. "I just thought of that, is all."

Ana never was able to picture her perfect man growing up. She loved all those princess movies with all the princes who were just so perfect and who lived happily ever after, but she could never see her own happy ending. She heard that girls ended but with guys who reminded then of their father, but she couldn't picture being with someone like her father who was stern and quiet and seemed to be a sort of stand offish at times. Then she couldn't picture being with someone like her ex-boyfriend Mike who was crazy and loud and just wanted to be with her at all times. They were really the only examples of men she had in her life and she thought she'd have to have one or the other, or nothing at all. That was probably one of the reasons she was so dumbfounded when she came across Leo. He was so different that any man she ever known. He was both, a perfect balance of both types of man; he was quiet and loud, he was crazy and stern and he only wanted to be with her even though he could appear stand offish if you didn't really know him. He knocked her off her feet, changed everything she knew about love. He made her realize that love wasn't easy, it wasn't always fun, it wasn't all the happy endings she expected. He showed her it was work, it took sweat and tears and hard work, but it was still worth it. Goddamn, every second was worth it.
Ana laughed lightly at his story and nodded with a large grin, her fangs sparkling.
I remember.
She leaned in so their foreheads were touching for a moment and then pulled back at bit so she could kiss his forehead. She gave a sigh.

Leonardo grinned as he saw Krumpet curling up on Harvey's massive paws, and falling asleep. At least he knew that they would be good friends for a long time - provided that Harvey didn't eat the tiny white kitten. He turned back to Ana, his hands on her waist, and his smile lessened as he listened to her. After she had kissed his forehead, he held her gaze, taking her hands off of his shoulder and kissing them, before lowering them. "Ana. I promise that I will be the absolute best husband you can ever imagine. I'll do everything in my power to make you and the kids the happiest that you can be. I'll be there for you through thick and thin, and whenever you need someone to talk to, no matter what my day's been like, I'll be there to listen. If you ever need me for anything, I'll just come right over - I don't care where I was, or what I was doing. I love you, Ana, and I will for the rest of my life." He sealed his pact by kissing her.

Ana smiled humbly when Leonardo kissed her hands and then lowered them down. As he went on, Ana couldn't help but feel her eyes tear slightly. She never could have imagined that she'd be a part of a love like this. This kind of feelings seemed only possible in movies, only in books, only talked about in music. It didn't seem real; it was too amazing, too perfect to ever be real. But it was. It was the fairy tale she had always wanted. She would have to work for it, it wasn't everything she had expected, but she had gotten her prince. Leonardo Locke was her knight in shining armor. He wasn't tall like she expected, he wasn't blond and he didn't ride around on a white horse, but he was a prince in her eyes, and the best prince she could ever ask for.
As a tear fell down her cheek, they leaned in for the kiss and her hands raised back up to cup Leonardo's face and she pulled away with a smile. Then something inside her shifted and another tear fell. She looked down and then back to Leonardo.

Leonardo couldn't remember a time when he had ever been so sincere in talking about love like that. Normally, he would say something, then turn it into a joke halfway through, but right then - right then, he had been totally serious. He kissed Ana, then wiped away her tears with the pad of his thumb. "Don't cry, love, please." He kissed her cheek, the tip of her nose, her forehead, everything, but it still seemed like she was intent on crying. At her question, though, he froze. Crap. Hormones. Think, man, think! He looked around uneasily. "I love you because you're fat. Wait. No, that didn't come out right. I love you because you're pregnant with my child, and...yeah. You're not fat."

In that sentimental moment, the damn of every man's greatest fear of pregnancy broke and Ana's hormones came rushing through. The tears started coming down almost uncontrollably as a waterfall of emotions ran through her. Ana's head spun as she felt excited and ecstatic and insecure and nervous and irritated and it left her with this horrible lost and confusing feeling that only made her cry more. Even as Leo continued to rain her with affection, the tears poured down and Ana sniffled. She shook her head.
But...but...
She rested her head in her hands and allowed her tears to fall. If she was in solid mind at the moment and saw another girl acting the way she was, Ana would have told her to snap out of it and calm down, but in the state she was in now, she couldn't help it and it only made her feel more pathetic.
Ana snapped her head up and looked at Leonardo, horrified.
So you do think I'm fat?! Oh!
She rested her head down on his chest and continued to cry until she suddenly rose her head, her face in alarm. She paused.

Leonardo never knew what to do when Ana got all emotional like this. It hadn't been nearly as bad when she was pregnant with Aiden and Fiona. In fact, she had been more happy and horny than anything else when she was having the twins, but with this baby, she was always crying. Always. At least once a day, Leonardo was breaking out a box of Kleenex while she cried on his shoulder about how fat she was, or how she was going to be a terrible mother, or that Charlotte hated her and was secretly plotting to take the twins away. And every single time, Leonardo had to sigh, fight the urge to run screaming out of the apartment, and tell her that she was basically being a nutter. This never went over well, however.
>> "So you do think I'm fat?! Oh!"
"What? I - no! That was a slip of the tongue! You're certainly not fat! You're..." He searched his mind for something he could use, and, in desperation, pulled out a catchphrase that Kendra at work had taught him. "You're big, black and beautiful!" Leonardo then smacked himself in the forehead. How did that have anything to do with the situation? It was only going to make things worse, actually. He had juts called Ana big. And black. She certainly was not black. Her next comment got a funny look from him. "No, I don't smell ham." He muttered under his breath, "But then again, I'm not a crazy pregnant lady."

Ana pregnant had stages; there was angry, more angry, pissed, livid, furious, horny, very horny, rip off Leonardo's clothes horny, hungry, starving, eat out the house hungry, sad, upset, devastated, full on basket case, insecure and several others, but those were the main. With the twins the rip Leonardo's clothes off horny, the starving and the pissed came out a lot, but for this pregnancy Ana was constantly either furious, eat out of the house hungry or full on basket case. Tori told her not to worry about it and that it was normal for the most part, but Ana didn't believe that fully, seeing as it scared the daylights out of Leonardo.
Right now she was caught somewhere in between devastated and insecure, a bit of angry brewing in her stomach and the hungry emerging. The hungry was actually the best thing and made all the other horrible symptoms go away. It was as if Ana somehow returned to her old self every time she cleared out all the food in the house. At that moment she wanted ham...and pickles....garlic bread....lemon pudding....and fluff. She glared at Leonardo, ignoring his fat comments and only focusing on his last.
That's right, I'm crazy, and if you want to live, I would appreciate ham, pickles, garlic bread, lemon pudding and a jar of fluff.
She didn't mean to be so rude and snippy with him, ruining the sweet moment they were in right now, but the pregnant Ana could be a bit of a bitch when unsatisfied. But hey, at least she stopped crying.

Leonardo grimaced. He should have been experienced in what to do, now that this was the second time that Ana was pregnant, but every time it was different. He lived in constant fear that Ana would suffocate him in his sleep - as she had tried to do one time when he hadn't gotten her her clementines fast enough. "Ana, calm down. Okay? I'll go get your ham, pickles, garlic bread, lemon pudding and fluff, and then we'll come back and we'll try one of those positions in that sex book you picked up that you like so much." He smiled at her, and stood up, pulling her up as well. He kissed her passionately, trying to get her back in a good mood, then squeezed her bum. "I'll be back in a flash." He then Apparated away.

Calm...calm...Ana thought. She began to breathe in deep like her doctor had told her to in an attempt to relax. Ana could be such a hot head at times and her being pregnant didn't help the cause any. She felt bad for Leo when she was clear headed, feeling bad that he always did so much for her and got such a bitch in return. She'd always make a mental note to be nicer, but when she had a mood swing all of that went out the window real quick. She nodded to him as he pulled them back to their feet, promising food and sex to her when he returned. Both of which were Ana's two favorite things while pregnant, thinking that maybe it was time to welcome Leonardo at the door when wearing nothing but chocolate frosting and bacon. She kissed him back, missing him already and nodded again.

Ten minutes later, Leonardo was back, everything Ana had asked him for in a plastic bag. He triumphantly went into the kitchen and put it all down, then looked around for Ana. "Ana?" he called, taking off his jacket and throwing it down. She had been there when he had left, so where was she now?
